Come on down to Park Avenue Parties and check out our NEW INVENTORY!
So many of our clients have requested a stand-alone lighting system that we have finally answered your prayers. As you can see in the middle picture above, we have designed a new lighting system that will allow clients to not use a tent if they are no wanting one. The wine barrels allow the weighted pole to stand tall while placing the stools in the first picture around each barrel. This allows you to get some awesome lighting as well as space for your guests to sit around the fun. This is a great way to optimize space and put your dance floor underneath. So come on down and see our showroom with all your rental needs.

Let's be honest for a moment. This past year has taken a toll on everyone. So, when it comes to expenses there are defiantly compromises that tends to happen. However, when you are planning your dream wedding it can become challenging to see what a must is and where to make your adjustments. Here are a few key things to not compromise on.
Heating: Even in the summer the evenings can become chilly with any altitude. So, you need to consider how late your reception is going into the evening. You do not want your guests to leave early because they are cold and no longer enjoying their time. Lighting: Lighting can be very expensive, but it is also, not somewhere you want to budget on. There is a difference between having enough lighting to see what is going on under the tent and on the dance floor to wanting lighting for ambiance. No matter what your preference is you must also make sure that there is enough lighting to see what you're eating. To make sure that your guests can find their way back to their cars and that your catering team has enough light to prep and get your food out to the tables. Tent Size: A lot of people want to try and make the tent as small as possible to minimize cost. This may sound like a reasonable idea until you see how you don't have enough room for your cake table, guests walking around, no room for your catering team to prep, and even no bars or nonalcoholic drink stations. So be very aware of what needs to go under your tent before you try and decrease your tent size down. Trying to figure out what size tent you'll need for your next wedding or event may seem like a daunting task. Luckily, Park Avenue Parties has some key pointers to consider. A few things to consider before doing the math are:
Weddings and events can be as stress free or as stressful as you make it. When booking your party rentals with Park Avenue Parties it is key to make sure that you start reserving your rental items when you know your venue. Once you know your venue, it is a lot easier to start to understand what you will be needing for the event. Rural areas require more equipment than if you were at a venue in town. Some venues also have items for you when reserving your event with them. When building a quote or reserving items with rental companies they base your delivery on your venue, so again, this is key to know. Once you start your booking process with venues getting your rental items is the next step. This allows you to make changes, get creative if needed, and also get the rental items you actually want and need. 2022 looks like it is going to be a busy summer and fall season for weddings, events, and everything between. Booking early allows your rental items to be taken out of inventory and reserved for your big day! So, once you receive a quote and it looks good, sign as soon as you can. Once you sign you can always make smaller adjustments to make sure that you have the right count for the big day. So, skip the headache of not getting the rental items you want and book early!
Community and private gatherings provide exquisite opportunities for building quality human connection and fulfillment. We have improved safe part rental services, including spacious tent and table set up and sleek mobile hand sanitizing stations. According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, “Social connection can lower anxiety and depression, help us regulate our emotions, lead to higher self-esteem and empathy, and actually improve our immune systems.” Can we finally can gaze onto the warming horizon like bears coming out of hibernation? The status of the global quarantine seems to be improving due to more folks being vaccinated, cautious travel guidelines and an increase in average daily outdoor temperatures. This is an interesting paradox we are facing this spring, and here at Park Avenue Parties we want to do our best to safely promote the gatherings that bring us closer together. We have event planners ready to advise on creative ways to make any gathering more spacious with safe party rental options. That includes more spaciously designed tents and tables, guaranteed thorough cleaning of all rental items, and we even have created our very own custom mobile hand sanitizing stations to maximize the safety of your guests. Plan with mother nature!
Outside weddings can have such a spectacular impact with your overall wedding theme. However, if you do not plan accordingly then mother nature can quickly take a turn and make your dream day a disaster. Fortunately, Park Avenue Parties has the expertise to make sure that your day is perfect. One of the best things about an outdoor wedding is the sweeping San Juan Mountains that make amazing natural backdrops. From colorful, blooming spring gardens and lush, vibrant summer lawns to crisp, jewel-toned autumn foliage and wondrous winter snowcaps, outdoor weddings can be stunning visual affairs. It is essential that you coordinate with that natural beauty to take advantage of the mountains and make your wedding truly memorable. Protect your guests. As much as your wedding day is about celebrating your commitment, a huge part of your wedding day is also about entertaining your guests. You want people to go home feeling happy and satisfied. When planning for your wedding take your guests into consideration with your tent. Tents come in all sorts of size and shapes. They also have sides that range from solid to window views. You want to make sure that if the weather goes south that your guests will have shelter. Wind, rain, snow, and other outdoor aliments can make the big day catastrophic if you do not plan for them. By adding sides to your tent, it gives you the option to have the tent sides open to enjoy the weather or close to protect not only your guests but also your décor.
Take Advantage of your views. When planning your outdoor wedding, keep the natural views of your location in mind as you arrange seating, position the dance floor and consider where the ceremony will be held. If your location offers a sweeping view of a valley that will be draped in fall foliage, for example, you don't want that valley behind your guests' backs or otherwise out of view for photos. Try to position every point of your wedding, including cutting the cake, your first dance and other key moments, to showcase the beauty of your outdoor location. Last but not least, book early and save the headache! Park Avenue Parties has lots of inventory to match for your perfect day. However, if you don’t plan ahead or book early some rental items may become unavailable. Rental companies work hard to make sure that all inventory is up to date and reasonably priced. We have all been to a good and bad receptions. Don’t make the same mistake and leave your guest wanting more. Leave them remembering the love, music, and the beautiful theme of your perfect day! And you don’t want to be worn out or stressed out on your wedding day. Plus, you would be stuck with décor, chairs, linens, glassware, and flatware that you may never use again. Weddings are already high pressure with shopping for the perfect dress, DIY décor items, to sending out all your invitations. Why not let Park Avenue Parties supply you with all the wedding rentals you’ll need for your wedding ceremony? Utilizing Park Avenue Parties will help you plan for your dream wedding without pressure! One of the most fun parts about planning a party can be the guest tables. With the wide variety of dishware, flatware, and glassware we offer at Park Avenue Parties, you are sure to find just what you need.
It is common for people to consider disposables a better option, however there are a few things to be aware of with that choice. First, if you have decided to have a catered meal, disposable plates that are affordable, may not be sturdy enough for your guests to carry food from a buffet line to their seats. Additionally, many more rural venues and locations, will require you to pack out all of your trash. The use of disposables may make this more of a challenge. In lieu of dealing with those issues, we recommend our porcelain dishware, metal flatware, and glassware. These can be an economical AND environmentally friendly option - and help make a beautiful tablescape! Our porcelain dishware comes in a complete profile of options, including 2 styles and 3 sizes of plate. We’ve got soup plates, and even mugs, as well as cups and saucers. Pair with our selection of shiny stainless-steel flatware. We have the essential forks, knives and spoons, as well as steak knives and soup spoons. The glassware selection includes the essential water and wine glasses, as well as champagne flutes and mason jars. We also have a wide variety of specialty wine and bar glassware to make your bar area, drink stations and place-settings sparkle. The best part is that your dishware, flatware, and glasses, only need a quick rinse at the end of the party, before they are packed back up! If you’ve hired a caterer to be on site, they may be able to do the rinsing for you. We also provide simple dish kits and bus tubs for those who are more DIY inclined. Don’t forget – renting dishware, flatware and glassware is an amazing option for dinner parties and smaller events too! Instead of spending time doing the dishes, you can enjoy the company of your guests. Using real dishware, flatware, and glassware, will not only elevate the look of your party; it can also be a more planet-friendly option. Winter weddings are absolutely magical - filled with light, and opportunities for lots of personal touches! Park Avenue has so many things to help make your winter wedding special.
For a beautiful winter ceremony setting, consider warming the space with wood padded chairs and an assortment of hurricane and votive candle holders grouped on the ends of each row. Our vast inventory offers you a selection of votive candle holders, as well as classic tall hurricane candle holders that can be filled with your own selection of candles and even greenery! Planning a winter barn wedding? Add warmth and light by positioning our wine barrels topped with collection of candles or lanterns. Our lanterns feature an LED “candle” for worry-free use, or remove the faux-candle and fill with flowers or greenery. You can also pair the wine barrels with one of our beautiful rustic wood slabs for a drink or remembrance table with lots of personality. For additional overhead lighting, our warm bronze chandeliers can add that bit of extra atmospheric lighting. If your venue does not have any atmospheric lighting options, we’ve got you covered with classic twinkle lights, or strands with Edison bulbs for a more editorial look. We’ve even got theatrical lights that can be used to up-light the details of your venue, or add more color and pop to your dancing space. Or try our over-head spotlight to shine down on your gift table. For your winter wedding reception, consider beautiful dark wood farm tables. They don’t require a linen, which makes them perfect for winter parties because you don’t have to worry about snowy, muddy traffic making your linens wet or dingy. The warm color adds depth to the space, and paired with our gold chargers at each place setting, your guests will be bathed in soft and natural warm light. If sparkle is what you’re after, our mirrored centerpieces offer the perfect reflective surface for all of those candles and lanterns. Finally, if your winter wedding venue needs some supplemental heat – we’ve got patio heaters and tent heaters to help keep your party going. Or check out our fire pits – we’ve got propane and wood burning, perfect for a smore station, or paired with our lounge seating to create a relaxed warming spot. Winter wedding looks are all about dramatic looks, warm spaces and personality.
