FALLing in love

​Can you believe that we are mid-way through July already?! I know that we still have hot days ahead and many more parties to come, but fall is coming, and we are here to kick start all you need to know. 
 
Fall colors are in the air with rust, green hues, and burgundy. Good thing, that here at Park Avenue Parties we have all the linen colors you need to spice up your table settings. From our linen napkins to our options in tablecloths your guests will fall in love with your details. 
Wine barrels are still huge this fall with them being placed at the front of the aisles, used as bars or desserts tops, and cocktail tables around the dance floor. We are also seeing lots of people using natural elements such as wood blocks and tons of votives with candles making us nostalgic for fairytales.  
Finally, another consistent element this fall are the farm tables and chairs. This is a rustic look allowing all the colors to shine on the natural wood.

Can you believe that it is almost Fourth of July! This summer is flying by and we want to soak up all the memories this summer. 

I don’t know about you, but I love celebrating my birthday with family, friends, good cake, and lots of laughter.        A favorite tent for special events, fairs, trade shows, and food service use. With its ease of setup and light weight frame, the original Peak Marquee (MQ) is user-friendly as well as attractive for party or events. 5 Key Tables to Have at your Wedding

​When having a wedding, you need to take into a count the variety of tables you are going to need to have. Since most likely you won’t be using these tables again and it gets expensive to buy all the necessary tables, come check out what Park Avenue Parties has for your table and chair rentals and place your order.
There are many types of wedding tables you can rent from Park Avenue Parties  with the most common ones being:
THE HEAD TABLE
This is often a rectangular table that the wedding party sit at. Farmhouse tables are a great and elegant head table that allow the wedding party to stand out. This also creates a great atmosphere for a family setting meal to be shared. 
Wanting more of an intimate moment for just you and your partner? Consider going for a smaller sweetheart table. This is a small round, or square table that allows you and your loved one the much-needed alone time. The table also allows your wedding party to mingle with the guests.
FOOD TABLES
Food is a many gathering area for a wedding reception. Whether you’re having a ton of guest or a smaller reception make sure that you have enough tables to properly get people through the line. You do not want granny or uncle bob to be waiting all night to get their food. 
When it comes to renting your food tables take into mind what food is going to be served, more and more people are doing informal dining. This dining is best served as a buffet style, you can have three large rectangular tables that make a T shape. This way you can get more guests through the line quicker and everyone should be eating around the same time. 
THE CAKE TABLE
The best table to rent for your cake is a round table. The wedding cake can be one of the most expensive and significant parts of the wedding so you should place it at a place where everyone can see it and marvel at its beauty. This also goes for a dessert table if you are doing something other than cake. 
Smaller cakes, look great on display using a  highboy table. The extra height of the table will make the cake stand out and allow for the extra WOW factor. 
THE GUEST BOOK / CHECK-IN TABLE
From its name, this is a table that you place for your guests to check-in and find their tables. The guests will also be given a chance to sign the guest book. You can rent a rectangular or square table, ensuring that the table fits in with the overall theme of the wedding. This is also a great way to add a custom color linen to the table to make it pop at the entrance.
GIFT TABLE
Unlike the cake table that you want everyone to see, you want to make sure that the gift table is accessible but not in the way. However, make sure that even though the table is not on display, that this table is not hidden. The best table to use as a gift table is a rectangular table that you

So many of our clients have requested a stand-alone lighting system that we have finally answered your prayers. As you can see in the middle picture above, we have designed a new lighting system that will allow clients to not use a tent if they are no wanting one.  The wine barrels allow the weighted pole to stand tall while placing the stools in the first picture around each barrel. This allows you to get some awesome lighting as well as space for your guests to sit around the fun. This is a great way to optimize space and put your dance floor underneath.

Weddings on a Budget

Let's be honest for a moment. This past year has taken a toll on everyone. So, when it comes to expenses there are defiantly compromises that tends to happen. However, when you are planning your dream wedding it can become challenging to see what a must is and where to make your adjustments. Here are a few key things to not compromise on. 

Heating: Even in the summer the evenings can become chilly with any altitude. So, you need to consider how late your reception is going into the evening. You do not want your guests to leave early because they are cold and no longer enjoying their time. 

Lighting: Lighting can be very expensive, but it is also, not somewhere you want to budget on. There is a difference between having enough lighting to see what is going on under the tent and on the dance floor to wanting lighting for ambiance. No matter what your preference is you must also make sure that there is enough lighting to see what you're eating. To make sure that your guests can find their way back to their cars and that your catering team has enough light to prep and get your food out to the tables. 

Tent Size: A lot of people want to try and make the tent as small as possible to minimize cost. This may sound like a reasonable idea until you see how you don't have enough room for your cake table, guests walking around, no room for your catering team to prep, and even no bars or nonalcoholic drink stations. So be very aware of what needs to go under your tent before you try and decrease your tent size down.
