On behalf of Park Avenue Parties, I would like to thank you for choosing us for your upcoming event. It is our top priority to make sure that your event is stree-free and that you have everything you need in equipment rental. If you do not see items listed on our products page, please ask. We have many decor items as well as specialty lighting packages not listed on our website. We can also direct you to other party and wedding vendors as well. We strive to exceed your expectations and hope to hear from you soon.

Please feel free to visit our office, located at 601 E. Main St. in Montrose (Park Avenue True Value Hardware). Our party professionals are available 7 days a week. It is best to make an appointment if you need assistance in planning an event. We book most parties through email, however, so visiting our office is not esential.

Reservations for your event should be made as early as possible. Summer weekends are usually reserved early. Price quotes and proposals do not guarantee availability of rental equipment. Items will only be reserved upon receipt of valid credit card information, to be kept on file during the term of the lease, along with a signed rental contract and a 20% non-refundable deposit. (Print contract below.) All reserved equipment is subject to a 25% cancellation fee.

Damage Waiver
A non-refundable Damage Waiver Charge of 10% will be assessed on all rental contracts. In consideration of this fee, Park Avenue Parties agrees to waive any claim against customer for accidental damage to equipment rented under their contract. This Damage Waiver does not cover vandalism, theft, disappearance, dirty dishes, badly soiled or damaged linens or misuse of equipment.

Final Payment
Equipment is rented on a "per event" basis. Because of travel time and set-up, a typical Saturday event would be delivered or picked-up from our store on Friday and returned on Sunday. An event lasting longer than one day is subject to additional charges. Final payment, including delivery charges, and damage waiver is due in full four (4) days prior to your event. No credit is given for unused equipment such as linens. You are paying for time out, not time used. No orders will be scheduled for delivery until full payment has been received.

Site Preparation
Customer agrees to have event site ready before the crew arrives to set up equipment. That means having the lawn mowed, moving vehicles out of the way, etc. Customer agrees to research, and inform Park Avenue Parties of any underground utilities in the area. These may include telephone cables, gas lines, sprinkler systems, or septic systems, etc. Customer agrees to inform Park Avenue Parties of anything that may interfere with the pounding of stakes, or anchor equipment into the ground. Customer assumes all responsibility for damage to any underground utilities, or any death or injury which occurs as a result of anyone hitting underground utilities. Emergency On-Call Service
We provide 24-hour on-call service to all our customers with tent installations. You may call Chris or Wayne at Park Avenue True Value at 970-249-4850 during regluar business hours 7-days a week, or any other time call Wayne's cell number: 970-209-5672.

On-Site Service
Customer may retain the services of a Park Avenue Parties employee during an event. Additional charges will apply.

Delivery / Pickup Services
Delivery and pickup service is available on all rental orders, regardless of size. All fees are based upon tailgate delivery and charged by geographic location. We provide delivery to nearly all locations on the Western Slope of Colorado. Additional charges will be assessed for second floor, or higher locations, or for excessive distances for loading or unloading trucks, specific pickup or delivery times, and after hours pickup or delivery. Delivery fees quoted may change after site inspection. All items will be delivered and picked up from a designated location. Additional fees are required for multiple pickup and/or delivery locations. The customer agrees to be available to count all items upon delivery and pickup. Customer is responsible for all missing items. Orders are typically delivered 1-3 days prior to the event, while pickups typically occur 1-3 days following an event. Specific times can be requested, but cannot be guaranteed. Delivery time can vary by 1-3 hours from scheduled delivery time. Scheduled pickup and delivery times are decided upon a week prior to the event. Responsibility for all rented equipment remains with the customer from the time it is delivered until it is picked up. Please be sure all equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather. Please call or email us for delivery charges that apply to your location.

Cleanup / Preparation for Pickup
All floral arrangements, trash, and decorations of any kind should be removed from tent before scheduled pickup time. All chairs and tables should be stacked as delivered. Cleanup services are available at an additional cost. All dishes, glassware, and cooking equipment should be returned to their proper rack or container and assembled at a single location for pickup. Dishes, glasses, flatware and any other equipment that has come in contact with food or beverage should be well rinced and free of all food particles. Grills must be returned clean. Linens should also be free of food particles and be well shaken out and placed into the canvas laundry bags provided. Linens that are returned with burns, holes, tears, wax damage, or are permanently stained will be billed at replacement cost. See the Linen Rental Guidelines sheet provided with the linens for more information.

Customer understands that tents are temporary structures designed to provide short-term protection from weather conditions, primarily sun and rain. There may be situations, however, particularly those involving strong winds, lightning and snow in which the tents will not provide adequate protection and may even be damaged or blown over. Evacuation of tents to avoid possible injury is recommended when severe weather threatens the area where the tent is erected. People must leave the tents and not seek shelter in the tents during such conditions. Because it may be difficult to determine if the weather is severe enough to necessitate evacuation, it is always best to err on the side of caution. In other words, if in doubt, evacuate! Customer agrees that in the event of a predicted or actual storm or excessive winds, Park Avenue Parties staff may disassemble any equipment that has been previously installed to insure the safety of everyone involved. Park Avenue Parties may alter the delivery or pickup times to accomodate certain weather conditions. Tents cannot be assembled or disassembled during severe weather conditions. Tents are secured with multiple ground stakes at each corner for maximum safety. Tents secured with water barrels in lieu of stakes are never recommended. Tents scheduled after Labor Day, or before Memorial Day run the risk of collapse during snow storms. Park Avenue Parties reserves the right to take down or simply not erect a tent if heavy snow is forcast. Customer is responsible for the rental cost of the tent structure and tent accessories even if the tent has been delivered, whether or not it has been erected or used.

Additional Charges
Additional charges will apply if:
1. The site is not ready or accessible when the crew arrives to pickup rental equipment;
2. The tent and rental equipment is not ready when the crew arrives to pick it up;
3. Delivery or pickup is from any location other than ground level (upstairs or downstairs);
4. All chairs and tables are not stacked as delivered for pickup;
5. Food service items are not adequately rinsed free of food particles. Caterer should be consulted on this matter;
6. Any additional equipment (stoves, grills, ovens, etc.) has not been adequately cleaned;
7. Customer requires delivery or pickup schedules other than during regular business hours (8:00am - 6:00pm);
8. Site requires a custom tent installation such as on asphalt, decks, or around immovable obstructions, etc.;
9. Tent crew must haul equipment 50 feet or more from the truck to the actual event site;
10. Deliveries, pickups, or set-ups are scheduled for holidays or holiday weekends.

Please be sure that all equipment is returned according to these TERMS AND CONDITIONS. The customer is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred as a result of failure to meet these conditions. All collection fees, attorney fees, court costs, or any other expense involved in the collection of rental charges are the customer's responsibility. Prices are subject to change until such time that you reserve your items and pay your deposit.
